Lead Apostle Oppong-Brenya
23 November 2020

On the 15TH day of November, 2020, Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya held a special Thanksgiving divine service at the Techiman Central church in the Techiman Apostle Area.

The text word for the service was taken from Psalm 104:24: “O Lord, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”

“Beloved, as our text word says, do we also see the Lord’s greatness in His works? Have we observed it? Do we feel it?” began the Lead Apostle. “Look at the mountains and the low lands around us, the various water bodies and trees; let us observe how the Lord has uniquely distributed everything for us. Accordingly, God created all species the same; a turkey in China is no different from the one in Ghana. He created all humans the same way; our differences are in our looks.”

He continued: “I once came across a giant of a man, lamenting about his life because he is crippled. And then I thought to myself: ‘Look at me, I am the not the biggest of persons, but I am able. This man has a towering physique but physically challenged. Indeed, I am grateful for how the Lord made me. Even if I have nothing, I will serve the Lord with all my might and strength for the rest of my life’” said the Lead Apostle as he reflected on the grace and many blessings given him by the Lord.

“A lot of us cry and worry about things in this life; but let us have a look at our fingers, they are all on one hand, but are not the same and would never be. Let us stop complaining and worrying and be thankful for what we have because no matter what, we cannot question God” admonished Lead Apostle Oppong-Brenya.

The Leader further went on to espouse how every living creature all have their share of food accordingly: “Oh what a marvel; the elephant eats and so the does the ant. The rich eat likewise the poor. The strong are fed and so are the weak.” The wisdom and craftsmanship of God can never be understood, an example being the formation of man out of a clot of blood.

The Lead Apostle concluded: “Let us be content with whatever the Lord has provided us with, because all things were made under His great wisdom.”

Apostle Paul Yaw Kyeremeh, Shepherd Agyei Philemon and Priest Ernest Yeboah assisted the service.
