On the 8th day of November, 2020, Shepherd Amankwaa held a divine service at Kintampo Central Church in the Kintampo district under Techiman Apostle Area.

The text word for the service was taken from Isaiah 62:11, ‘Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world: “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him’”.’

“We will thank the Almighty God for the gift of our dear lives He has granted us this day. As we are dressed today beautifully in our church attire seated here, some have also dressed in black and red (funeral clothes) so we should be very thankful and grateful for the opportunity given us” said the Shepherd as he began by saying these words.

Shepherd Amankwaa added that the text word for the service was a happy and priceless one. “Who has life?” Shepherd asked. “No one has life except He that gives and takes life. You and I need Jesus in our lives because wherever there is darkness, light has to be present.” God loves mankind that He created light for us. He never wanted man to be in the dark (sinful ways) so He commanded light (righteousness) before creating human being which signifies that light is essential and needed wherever there is darkness.

Shepherd concluded by saying we are in bad times, it is election time in Ghana as well as Christmas season. A lot happens as we are preparing to buy Christmas dresses, food, etc, the dark world is also looking for their souls. Let us be very watchful and pray since that is the only weapon we have as Christians.

Community Evangelist Kwaku Boateng and Deacon Bright Fofie assisted the service.
