Apostle Sam visited the retired District Elder Nelson
8 April 2020

Although we are not in normal times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was with great joy as Apostle George Sam of the Takoradi Apostle Working Area, on April 5th 2020, made a surprised home visitation to some retired ministers and some elderly members of the Kojokrom Congregation in the Takoradi District.

The purpose of his visit was to share with them the message from the divine service which was conducted by Apostle Hans-J?rgen Bauer on Palm Sunday via Youtube. He also interacted with them on how they have sustained their spiritual lives in the absence of divine services.

Apostle Sam prayed with each family he visited and shared a summary of the sermon preached by Apostle Bauer from Luke 19:41-42 with them, highlighting the true purpose of the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, and the wrongful expectations the people had of Him.

The Apostle also shared hand sanitizers to each home he visited and advised them to take the precautionary measures which has been announced by health and government authorities seriously. Additionally, he demonstrated a do-it-yourself nose mask on his visits.

Furthermore, he used the occasion to inform the members about the upcoming Easter Sunday and Good Friday divine services via Youtube with the Chief Apostle and District Apostle respectively.
