Sunday children in a recital as they welcoming Lead Apostle
26 March 2020

On Sunday the 8th of March 2020, the itinerary of Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene- Saffo took him to Ho, where he celebrated a district divine service for members of the church. He was accompanied by Apostle Richard Senyo Osei, (Volta Central Apostle Area, host), Apostle Anthony Kuada (Volta South Apostle Area) and Apostle Timothy Akubia (Volta North Apostle Area).

The bible text for the service was taken from the gospel according Luke 17:17-18, ‘“So Jesus answered and said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”’

“Today is a good day for all of us! The Lord has granted you and I the grace, that we should be in His house to listen to His words; something that money cannot buy, but grace can. Even before we left our homes to His presence, the Lord knew our hearts. The Lord knows who you are, it is a matter of you coming to His house so that He will be able to grant you blessings and also having an opportunity for our sins to be forgiven and celebrate Holy Communion.” These were the opening remarks of the Lead Apostle as he commenced his service.

Reflecting on the text word, the Lead Apostle explained that, if God grants us grace, we ought to recognize and show appreciation. He also urged the congregation to give wholeheartedly to God through offering as a sign of showing appreciation. Moreso, he encouraged parents to teach their children how to offer in God’s house so that as they grow, they will be able to give to the Lord without any hindrances.

He said, “God extended His blessings to us through the gift of life and also given us ministers to serve us freely which we need to give thanks for.” He continued by encouraging the congregation to change their ways and serve the Lord in truth and in righteousness.

He emphasized that the recognition of the power of God is in the Apostle ministry. He further called on the congregation to show appreciation for the little things received from God and he also advised members to invest in God’s work.

“I pray that, God changes our hearts and draw us closer to the truth to be able to receive His blessings. The blessing is here, the authority is here, it is left with us to put them to test. May the Lord bless us all”, he concluded his service.

Lead Apostle was assisted by Apostles Akubia, Kuada, and Osei.
