The 29th of December, 2019, marked the end of year service on the New Apostolic Church’s calendar which was greatly observed across the globe, of which the Volta South Apostle working area was not left out.

Prior to the end of year service, Apostle Anthony Kuada held the end of year meeting with inisters and choir leaders in the Apostle working area on Saturday the 28th of December 2019, at Mafi Sasekpe in the Tordzenu District. The choir leaders from the Volta Central were also invited to plan towards the 2020 national youth camp in Kumasi; to raise a mass choir for the choral concert at the youth camp.

The Apostle took the time to thank them for the good work they are doing for God, and also encouraged them to do their best in the next year.

On Sunday the 29th of December 2019, Apostle Anthony K. Kuada, in the end of year divine service, served 179 members at Mafi Sasekpe congregation in the Tordzenu district of the Volta South Apostle working area.

The Apostle read a text word from Psalm 40:4 – 5, ‘Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are your wonderful works which you have done; and your thoughts which are towards us cannot be recounted to you in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.’

The Apostle, in his introductory message said, “It is with great joy to always be in the house of God with the purpose of serving Him, and serving Him with a true and clean heart.”

Apostle Kuada made the congregants aware of the fact that, God knows what they are going through and has not abandoned them. He said God is always protecting us from the evil one. He reminded the congregants to always come to the Lord with thankful hearts. “Even if you have forgotten about all the Lord has done for you, do not forget you are still alive”, the Apostle said.

He then asked the congregants what they are doing to attract God’s protection and blessings. He urged them to be happy with whatever comes their way and also trust in God for He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. “Through this, we will attract God’s blessings and protection.”

The Apostle, in his conclusion urged the congregants to put in their possible best to do better than this year and also encouraged them to be happy no matter the situation they find themselves; for God is with them.

Assisting the Apostle in the divine service were three (3) District Leaders and four (4) District Evangelists.
