On the 10th of November 2019, Apostle Andrews Boakye conducted a Divine service at Nkawkaw Central church which also marked the annual a beautiful Thanksgiving day for the Nkawkaw Apostle Area.

The text word was taken from 2 Corinthians 9:8, ‘And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause’.

The Apostle began the service by congratulating them for their hard work and enthusiasm towards this year’s celebration. He also thanked them for the food crops brought to the altar for decoration.
Highlighting the text word, Apostle Boakye urged the congregants to be thankful to the Almighty God for washing our sins through water baptism, sealing us with the Holy Spirit, giving us the opportunity to celebrate Holy Communion and eternal fellowship with Him.

He also explained the benefit associated when one always gives thanks to God. He said, “We, Christians, should not be self-conceited in thanking God, and we should not forget that He provides food, cloth and shelter for us. Indeed, He has to be honoured. Let as all thank Him with a cheerful heart for more blessings to come upon as.”

Furthermore, the Apostle urged the congregants to be like Abel, drawing inspiration from the story of Cain and Abel.

The service were support by District Evangelist Joseph Gyimah and Shepherd Eric Donkor, all of Nkawkaw district
