The Lead Apostle being welcomed by the Sunday School
1 November 2019

As part of this year’s 50th anniversary celebration of the New Apostolic Church in Ghana, Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya joined jubilant members at the Bremang district in the Wiawso Apostle Area where he conducted a divine service on 26th October 2019.

In a service where he praised God’s unfailing love, and the steadfastness of the members of the church over the past 50 years, Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya based his sermon to the congregation at the Breman Central church on John 12: 26, ‘If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am there My servant will be also. If anyone loves Me, him My Father will honour.’

Elaborating on the text word to the congregation at the Bremang Central Church, he said: “We have been following Christ in this church for the past fifty years, yet, Christ has not returned. Do we stop worshiping Him? No. Instead let us hold on to our faith, and ask for the grace of the Lord to help us sail through until His second coming”.

He continued, “Christ said…love your neighbours as yourselves and pray for those who hate you. So brethren, as followers of Christ Jesus, we ought to portray Christ-like behaviour and we must remember that, all we do shall be accounted for on the judgement day.”

The service was supported by Apostle Hayford Edward Nzimah, and District Elder Samuel Oppong (Debiso ‘A’ District).

As part of the celebrations, there was a choral ministration later that evening by the Bremang Youth Choir and the Debiso Youth Choir.
