Apostle Andrews Boakye conducted a divine service at Akwatia Technical school on 1st September 2019 as the highlight and closing event for the Nkawkaw Area youth camp 2019.

The text word was taken from Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because you are to be feared; all you do is strange and wonderful, I know it with all my heart."

Apostle Boakye began his sermon by thanking the ministers and the youth for their dedication and discipline at every youth camp since his leadership as the Nkawkaw Area Apostle.

Explaining the text word, Apostle Boakye advised the youth to respond positively to the call of God. He added up that Apostle Paul did all kinds of evil but when he was called by God he had a change of mind. He further urged the youth to change from all kinds of evil ways because they have been called by God as well.

Apostle Boakye added that God has washed all their sins away through the baptism with water and made the Holy Spirit available through Holy Sealing, and draws them closer through Holy Communion. “What is worth more than this? Let us appreciate it and work hard towards our salvation” said Apostle Boakye.

The Apostle concluded by encouraging the youth to remember their Creator in their youthful days, just as is said in Ecclesiastes 12 : 1, “Remember your creator while you are still young…'.
District Elders Opoku Isaac (Nkawkaw), Brenya (Kade), Okyere Odubeng, (Ofoase), Amoako (Abenase) and Assistant District Rector Gyimah (Nkawkaw) assisted the service.
