The second day of the 2019 youth camp - Nkawkaw Apostle Area continued with some lectures and activities by resource persons for the brothers and sisters, in the fields of education, health and hygiene.
Talk on Education
Brother Danso Baah, headmaster of Kade Senior High school, a member of the New Apostolic Church, took time to explain the benefit and importance of education to the youth. He advised the youth to desist from all social vices and take their studies very seriously to enable them to meet their objectives and goals. He moreover advised those also under vocational training to work harder to the enable them enjoy better lives in future.
Health Talk
A group of health professionals, who are also members of New Apostolic Church, by names Dr. Joshua Akagbo, Dr. Bright, Dr.Linda Yawson and Sister Abigail Okley patiently gave the youth a talk mainly based on how to prevent heart attack, Hepatitis B, malaria and maintaining healthy blood sugar levels. They also advised on the harmful effects of drug abuse. The professionals also gave free medical screening.
The Youth and Hygiene
Deacon Nicholas Owusu Banahene of Nkawkaw Apostle area also had time with the youth on how to always keep hygienically clean. The Deacon explained to the youth on the benefits of cleaning the whole human body regularly as well as their surroundings clean.
