On Sunday, 1st September 2019 at the Assembly Hall of Dormaa Senior High School, Apostle Moses Otchere Ayarkwa celebrated a divine service with the Sunyani youth, where 358 participants including the local congregation of Dormaa district had gathered. It was a festive ambiance of unity among brethren, with representation from all the 10 districts of the Apostle working area.
The text word was taken from 1 Samuel 16:7, ‘but the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance but, the Lord looks at the heart.”
In his sermon the apostle said, Samuel judged Jesse’s sons by their external qualities, just as the Israelites found Saul acceptable because of his physical characteristics and made him their king. He clarified how God evaluates people, namely on the basis of their hearts, not their appearances or abilities.
The Apostle advised the youth not to look upon the outward appearance, for example one’s social rank or family history or fortune, in judging any human being.
Apostle Moses Otchere Ayarkwa was assisted in the service by District Elder Owusu Peprah, District Elder Alex Frimpong as well as Priest Evans Afful.
