The day 2 began as scheduled with morning devotion lead by Priest Michael Opoku. He quoted Ephesians 3: 16-17. He advised that we should love our enemies and neighbours as ourselves since the reward is eternal life. He was assisted by Priest Kofi Poku. The rest of the programs for the day unfolded as follows:
The Study of Future events (Eschatology)
Shepherd Yendu Morris started the second program. He introduced and enlightened the youth on the biblical events that is yet to happen such as rapture of the church, the great tribulation, the Second Advent, and the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ.
Biblical view on wealth & Riches
The third program for the day was on the biblical view on wealth and riches facilitated by Shepherd Dennis Asibuo. The focus for us Christians should always be on the “goal of our faith” and seek for wealth in accordance with the will of God.
Your Investment, Your Future
The fourth program was led by Shepherd Agyabeng Owusu. He taught the youth about investing for the future financially and aiming towards a successful future and retirement.
Entrepreneurship
The day ended with a training on some self-employment skills in making pastries as well as fabric conditioner & talcum powder for 17 year olds and above. The group of 14-16 year olds were taught how to make ‘Shambala’ (threaded wristbands) by their own peers, Brother Stephen Agyei Acheampong (a 14-year old) and Sister Linsa Gyamah Boateng (13-year-old). The program was very interesting and inspiring. The product were given to the participants as souvenir.
