On Sunday, 28th July, 2019 Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya conducted a divine service at Kadzadornya in the Ada District of the Volta South Apostle Area. In attendance were Apostle Anthony Kofi Kuada and his District Ministers.

‘I congratulate you for the great development and changes that you have cause to take place in this chapel.  Who is holding the mantle of Christ? Sometimes, it is the simple men and children of God; and God shall definitely bless them’, said Lead Apostle.

The text word was taken from 1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now we are children of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as He is.”  Speaking to 193 souls during the sermon, Lead Apostle recounted the encounter between Jesus Christ and the Great man who, by his intelligence, doubted the possibility of being born again.  Lead Apostle cautioned Members to renounce the world and listen to God.  He said that through the Holy Baptism, there is transformation and positive change in the soul.  Our heart is, therefore, developed to forsake sin/evil and the soul is then drawn nearer to God.  28th soul repents and follows Jesus by taking his/her own cross, be saved and to inherit the kingdom of God.

Lead Apostle added that the faithful souls who are dead would rise and those alive would be changed.  He assured members that it is only a new body and new language that are needed in the Kingdom of God.  Men with mighty shoulders and intellect are not needed in the Kingdom of Heaven.  He urged members to be like Christ -  be clean and full of love.   He admonished members with the adage that “a crab does not give birth to a bird”.  Lead Apostle concluded that members should always appear in the image and conduct of Christ because they are known by their status (children of God).  He ended that, as overcomers, the faithful souls would enjoy everything free of charge in heaven with Jesus Christ.

In his contribution, Apostle Anthony Kofi Kuada said that God revealed Himself to Stephen because he forgave his persecutors.  He admonished members to remain faithful despite all hindrances for the sake of everlasting life. District Elder Amenyedzi (the host), District Elders Blibo and Agbenyegah also served at the altar.
