It is time…! The Accra Apostle Area Youth Camp 2019 is upon us, with the expectation of some 900 participants from 20 districts to be received by the host, Swedru. Under the supervision and guidance of Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo, this year’s camp promises to be exciting and different with a twist in the lineup of activities, spanning 1st – 4th August 2019.

The 4-day event kicks off right on the arrival day with a surprise planned on the opening night. The next day, Friday, has a line-up of the narration of the history of the church in Ghana and the role played by the youth in the church, after which the gathering will be taken through a career guidance session by experienced young adults from various fields of industry. The youth will then have a ‘Time with Apostle’ and round-off the day in an entertaining but educative stage play, ‘The Anniversary’.

Saturday, 3rd August, will have the youth begin the day in a health and evangelical walk. This would be followed by sporting activities and a food bazaar. Then, each district’s youth choir will excitingly pitch to have themselves selected to be part of next year’s choral festival during the National Youth Camp 2020.

On Sunday 4th August, Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo will officiate a festive divine service with the youth to officially close the camp. This gives a unique divine opportunity for the youth to connect in unison with the Apostle and be advised from the altar of Grace.

One year ago, it was announced, and we looked forward to this day. The scriptures say in Habakkuk 2:3, “…though it tarries, wait for it. Because it will surely come…” Indeed, the time has surely come.
