Nkawkaw District held a special youth service with the aim to organize and prepare the youth in the district for the impending Nkwakaw Apostle Area youth camp scheduled for Akwatia in the Eastern region.

On 27th July, 2019 District Evangelist Joseph Gyimah invited the Youth to the Nkawkaw central church for this special service. The text word for the service was taken from John 1:9, ‘That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world’

In his elaboration on the text, he entreated all the youth to search for the real light which is Jesus Christ so their lives as youth will be a better one. District Evangelist Joseph Gyimah also advised the youth to be obedient and respectful to all their ministers and the youth leaders.

He further advised, “Involve yourselves in every church activity such as sweeping, weeding, mobbing as well as all other duties requested by your leaders, in your various congregations. And also be punctual in church.”

Heeding to the advice of their District Evangelist, the youth set out to maintain the environs of the Nkawkaw church premises and promised to regularly do same at their various congregations. The program was attended by 104 people.
