The southern sector youth of the Konongo Apostle Area youth organized an end of year youth gathering to crown the year 2018. The event, which came off on the 6th January 2019 at Brofoyedru, saw Bishop Kesse and the district leaders in attendance.

The purpose of the gathering was to promote unity among the youth, enlighten the youth on their responsibilities, enhance the spiritual growth of the youth and also raise funds to support the youth.

The Apostle Area Youth Leader, Sister Fati Mahama, gave an overview of the youth’s growth and development during the year. She also gave some recommendations to enable the youth fully engage in the vineyard work. This was followed by a summary of the youth’s financial position by brother Prince Ntisem. He also encouraged the youth to contribute their quota to the development of God’s work.

The youth then interacted with the Bishop Kesse and District ministers on various topics in an open forum. The Bishop and the district leaders also took the chance to further advise and encourage the youth to continue the good works. The day ended with refreshment and socialization.

Some 150 youth from seven districts (Oboasi, Adansi, New Edubiase, Nkrankese, Assin Akonfede, Assin Ningo and Assin Brofoyedru) were present. Earlier on the 26th December 2018, the northern sector (Konongo,agogo, Effiduase, Mamponten, Ejura, Adako Jachie and Asante Akyim) also witnessed a similar event with 75 youth in attendance.
