District Elder Oehler posing with two participants
23 August 2018

As part of his working visit to Ghana, District Elder Oehler paid a visit to Dumpong, a small farming community situated in the Eastern region of Ghana, about 45 minutes’ drive from the capital city, Accra. The visit, which occurred on July 16, 2018, was to supervise a two day seminar that had been organised for Sunday School teachers in the Aburi District. The District Elder was accompanied by Apostle Samuel Oppong Brenya, Lead Apostle of Ghana as well as Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo and Bishop Charles Asare, all of the Accra area.

The participants, some of whom were Priests, primary school teachers, senior high school students and junior high school students were happy to see their Apostles and the District Elder as they were taken through various topics in the Sunday school teacher’s manual. It was all joy as the Sunday school teachers role-played, story after story from the Bible.

The District Elder  thanked the participants for a good work done and encouraged them to put whatever they had learnt into practice in order to move the church forward
