All congregations in the Kumasi District joined the Kumasi Central congregation on 2nd July, 2018 for a Breakfast Meeting under the theme “Maintaining the Standards”. In attendance were Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong Brenya and Apostles Moses Otchere, Edward Hayford Nzimah, Robert Asampong, Anum Nortey, Amos Osei – Du and Bishop Charles Kesse.
Apostle Moses Otchere began the conference by elaborating on the Church doctrines. He also took the members through the Ten Articles of Faith and the Catechism.
Apostle Nzimah then encouraged the members to live by the standard set by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 22: 37-39, to love God with all our hearts, soul and mind, and also to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Following on, Apostle Osei – Du disclosed that the meeting was to further create an opportunity for members to fraternize with one another and strengthen the bond of friendship and love that exists among them.
Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong Brenya summarised the day’s meeting by advising all to inculcate the habit of at least learning one creed a month and to also live by the teachings of the church.
Two retired Apostles, Benjamin Nketiah and J.M.K Jantuah as well as retired Bishop Antwi Kyereme were also present to grace the occasion. The 682 members had a get-together after the meeting and were grateful to God for the wonderful time together.
