As part of building the capacity and knowledge of ministers within the Sogakpe District, seminars on Blessed Serving (Basic 2), were held for ministers at the Tsavanya, Metsrikasa and Aflao congregations respectively. The seminars were facilitated by Distict Evangelist Edwin Agbavitor and Shepherd Geoffrey Amedoe on the days of the 16th, 22nd and 23rd of June, 2018. District Evangelist Samuel Konu and District Evangelist Simon Goka were in attendance.
The seminar was structured to build the capacity of the priestly ministry to enhance their performance in the salvation and faith building work towards the perfection of the souls entrusted in their care. Topics treated included Authority, Leadership, Delegation, Communication, Overcoming Conflicts, and Obligation of Secrecy. Discussions were held on the Structure of Ministries and their functions in the New Apostolic Doctrine.
The participants also undertook group activities, role plays and exercises to demonstrate their understanding of the lessons learnt. In all, 39 ministers participated in the various seminars.

On Sunday, 24th June, 2018 a total number of 179 members from Kpotame and Aflao viewed the transmission of the Chief Apostle’s Festive Divine Service from Passau via internet.
The text word was Matthew 5: 44 – 45. Chief Apostle Jean Luc-Schneider’s sermon was centred on the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. He reiterated that self-sacrifice, forgiveness and love are requirements to achieve the Kingdom of God.
