The departed brother Samuel Yaw Adufull
16 June 2018

The sudden and early departure of brother Samuel Yaw Adufull brought about a lot of grief and shock to the Accra Central congregation (Accra West District). As farewell, Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo (Accra Area Apostle) conducted a burial service in his hometown, Gomoa Otwekrom, on the 9th June 2018. He was accompanied and supported by Bishop Asare, District Evangelist Arhin, Shepherd Donkor and other ministers from the Accra Central congregation.

The service was based on the text word Hebrews 4:1-2 (NKJV), “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”

Apostle Ohene-Saffo reflected on our departed brother’s personality and character as humble, friendly and committed to the work of God. The Apostle explained that the memorial service was not for the dead but the living. He admonished all present to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ and not fall prey to false teachings. He further added, “Our Lord Jesus Christ established the Apostle ministry and commissioned them to prepare the bridal congregation for His second coming. Let us strive to be part of the first resurrection for which we shall not be judged”.

Until his passing, brother Samuel Yaw Adufull was the technician in charge of audio-visual systems at the Accra Central Congregation. He made sure all equipment were in good condition for divine services and other functions.

May his soul rest in peace.
