Ordination at Likpe Bala
14 June 2018

In keeping with his 2018 itinerary for the Volta North Area, Apostle Timothy Akubia visited the people of Likpe Bala (Likpe District) where he conducted a festive divine service on May 27th, 2018. There were 122 souls in attendance for the service.

The text word for the service was taken from Mark 1:2-3, “As it is written in the Prophets: ‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You. The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.”

The Apostle exhorted members to prepare the way for the return of the Lord by taking up the responsibility to grow spiritually as well as live in harmony and foster a fellowship of oneness with each other. He added that Christians should strive to live a Christ-like life and proclaim the gospel in their daily works and interactions.

Apostle Timothy Akubia also urged the members to believe in the ministry of the apostles and be receptive to the Word preached and blessings proclaimed by ministers commissioned by the Apostles. He also encouraged the congregation to go the extra mile in their preparedness as the Bride of Christ and in their works towards salvation.

As part of the service, the Apostle carried out Holy Sealing on nine (9) souls. He also ordained three (3) Priests and a Deacon all to serve under the Likpe District for the Ve Agbome, Bowiri Kyiriahin, Likpe Bakua and Ve Koloenu congregations.

The Apostle was supported by District Elders Poku-Akubia (Likpe) and C.Y Xa (Hohoe) as well as District Evangelist Atsu David.
