Saturday the 31st of March 2018, was a special day in the lives of members of the New Apostolic Church (NAC) Ho-Central and its surrounding areas. Under the auspices of Apostle Benjamin Pidah, Ho-Central Choir hosted a three-hour Easter Musical Concert at Hotel Stephens. In performance were the New Apostolic Ho-Central and Youth Choirs as well as the brass orchestra. Also invited were guest performances by the Agortome Choir, Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P.) Church and the Kekeli Choir.
The occasion witnessed a resounding applause and appreciation by the audience in response to the various performances from the different choirs. The NAC brass orchestra and Ho-Central choir as well as the Agortome choirs received loud praise for their wonderful renditions of popular Easter themed hymns such as Rock of Ages, Were You There? O Beautiful Easter, Come to Me and Will you take Jesus today.
In his word of advice, Apostle Pidah spoke about the importance of the suffering, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He encouraged the audience to remain committed and faithful to the work of God till the return Christ.
The event also marked the 10th anniversary of the choirmaster and organist of Ho-Central Congregation Bright Dey. A foundation was launched to train and support the brass orchestra for the congregation.
The program was well attended with the two hundred and fifty (250) seater capacity conference room being fully occupied.
