Members of Apatanga congregation observing the opening prayer by the Lead Apostle
24 March 2018

The long awaited visit by the Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya drew near to the people of Apatanga congregation, under the Bolgatanga Apostle area, on Saturday 17th March, 2018. A total number of 120 congregants, gathered together with the ministers to receive the Apostle for a festive divine service. Apatanga is a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

Commencing the service, the text was read from Matthew 13:24-26 “Another parable He put forth to them, saying The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.’

The Lead Apostle expressed the joy that being before the altar of grace, and being together in the house of God is different from being together at home. Things are done common in the house of God. Example; listening to the word, receiving forgiveness of sin and taking the body and blood. All this prepare us for our salvation and the first resurrection.

He further expressed that, the seed of the word of God is for the salvation of mankind; however, the enemy comes to plant on the same land waiting for the harvest time. He encouraged the members to love each other and the community and condemn none. The seed will determine the fruit. In the end, Christ knows who did His will.

The service was supported by Apostle Kyeremeh, the District Elder Samuel Ayidana and District Evangelist Simon Adombila. The Lead Apostle shared some love to the women and the Sunday school children to grace to the occasion.
