Sunday School children welcome Apostle Oppong at Hohoe
21 March 2017

Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya paid a three-day working visit to the Volta North Apostle Area. The visit spanned from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th of March 2017. Apostle Timothy Akubia is in charge of the stated working area.

The Apostle conducted a seminar for the District Leaders of the Apostle Area. This seminar was held on 10th March, 2017, at Hohoe. Relevant issues relating to the progress of the working area were discussed. 14 out of the 17 District Leaders attended the meeting.

On Saturday, the Apostle conducted a divine service for the brethren at Dambai District. At Dambai, he encountered faithful New Apostolic Christians and was amazed at the large numbers of Ministers and their families who participated in the divine service. Many members at the Kete Krachie area had to cross the Volta Lake by ferry to attend the divine service. The text for the divine service was chosen from John 13:7, “Jesus answered and said to him, What, I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this”. 985 brethren attended the divine service.

On Sunday, Apostle Oppong-Brenya climaxed his visit with a divine service at Hohoe. He also served with a message from Luke 10:20, “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven”. 355 brethren were present at the divine service.
