Apostle Kotei Afutu bids farewell to the congregation
1 February 2017

A good work done

The Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider visited Togo’s capital, Lomé. All the Apostles and Bishops in Ghana were invited by the District Apostle Michael Ehrich for the divine service on 15th January, 2017.
At the divine service, two Apostles from Ghana were retired. Apostles Kotei Afutu and Benjamin Nketia in charge of the Accra and Kumasi Apostle Areas respectively brought their ministerial activities to a close.

Apostle Kotei Afutu served as an Apostle for twelve years out of his 42 years ministerial work. The ministerial activity of Apostle Benjamin Nketia spanned over a period of 36 years, 24 of which he was an Apostle for Christ.

The legacy continues

Two new Apostles were ordained by the Chief Apostle in the stead of Apostles Kotei Afutu and Benjamin Nketia. Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo, replaced Apostle Kotei  Afutu  for the Accra Apostle Area, whilst Apostle Amos Osei-Du replaced Apostle Benjamin Nketia for the Kumasi Apostle Area.

In a festive divine service conducted by District Apostle Michael Ehrich in Accra and Kumasi on the 18th and 22nd January 2017 respectively, the two retired Apostles bade farewell to their respective congregations. Also, the newly ordained Apostles were introduced to the congregations.
