The second in the series of congregational meetings was held by the Sunyani Central Church. The theme for the occasion was “COME AND SEE”, John 1:46 on 21st September 2016.
The Congregational meeting is time of worship with transformational teachings on themes provided by the church, great music and congregational interaction.
Apostle Robert Asampong, the main speaker gave a motivational talk on hard work and prudent use of resources to enable members give out their maximum, in terms of financial support to the work of God through offering and tithing. Apostle Asampong urged the congregation to strive for outstanding work ethics, willingness and efforts towards the attainment of excellence in whatever we do.
Apostle Paul Yaw Kyeremeh, the second speaker, encouraged members to be serious in all our dealings when it come to setting targets for ourselves in all spears of our endeavors: be it education, business, church activities and in our marriages. “As individuals, we have to preserve and ensure that our mission in life is accomplished, no matter the challenges involved” he concluded.
Apostle Benjamin Darko, in summarizing, said the congregation should do things that would attract people to the Church, instead of actions that would drive them away. “It is the way we relate with people, our transparency, attitude and utterances that would make people “COME AND SEE” what New Apostolic is made of” he stressed.
Concluding, Apostle Benjamin Nketia admonished the congregation to adopt and improve inter personal relationship as the impetus of our daily life.
There was a snack break and drama by the Sunday school children. The host of the Congregational meeting was Apostle Moses Ayarkwa Otchere.
