District Apostle during the meeting
5 May 2016

Our District Apostle paid a four day working visit to Ghana from 29th April 2016 to 2nd May 2016. Accompanied by his wife the couple torched the grounds of Ghana at 5 pm local time at the Kotoka International Airport. At the airport to welcome them was the Apostles Samuel Oppong-Brenya and Afutu Kotei who takes care of the Accra Apostle Area, as well as Shepherd Fenyi from the Administration Office Accra.

The District Apostle had a meeting which was divided into two main parts, Spiritual and Administrative, with all Apostles and Bishops of Ghana at the Prestige Hotel. The basis of the Spiritual part was from 1 Timothy 1:12 “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry”.

Apostle Oppong-Brenya presided over the Administrative part of the meeting. He introduced the revised “Standard for cared-for churches in West Africa”, a documentary which spells out the guidelines upon which all Apostles and Bishops as well as District Ministers must operate within. He stressed that every cared-for church in West Africa must act according to the same conditions.

The day was closed with a get-together of all Apostles and Bishops as well as their wives with the District Apostle in a nearby restaurant.
