4 May 2022

A little word of exhortation, a little singing, a little prayer, a little playing, a little laughter, a little banter; all put together, forms a formidable youth in the New Apostolic Church in the Konongo Apostle area. The Youth in the Konongo district and Asante Akim-Agogo district came together at Domeabra on 16th April, 2022 for Easter Fun Games.

The special guest for the occasion was Bishop Charles Kesse of Konongo Apostle Area. District Rectors Awuah and Obeng Amponsah of Konongo and Asante Akim Agogo respectively also graced the occasion. There was a brief discussion in the morning by Youth Leaders, Priest Ebenezer Akyirem (who is also a reporter for the Konongo Apostle Area) and Sister Fati Mahama.

Some activities for the day included;

  • Playing cards
  • Ludo
  • Volley ball
  • Football
  • Sack race
  • Tag of peace

The day was climaxed by some words from Bishop Charles Kesse. He thanked the organizers and all participants of the games for making the day successful. He encouraged the youth to continue in the steadfast teachings of the Apostles and also actively involve themselves in church activities like choir practices, ministerial work and cleaning of church premises.

The Bishop also urged the youth to carry this momentum of energy to the oncoming National Youth Camp at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
