A two-day Minister 1 seminar was recently held at the Nkawkaw Central Church for ministers of the Nkawkaw Apostle Working Area. This came-off on the 10th and 11th June, 2022.

The seminar was aimed at refreshing the minds of earlier trained minsters as well as to eduacate newly ordained ministers who have also been assigned to supervise or take charge of Confirmation Classes.

District Rector Joseph Gyimah was the key facilitator and tutor for the event. He was assisted by Deacon Charles Lawerh. Also in attendance and support was Apostle Isaac Opoku Mensah who opened the seminar with a prayer and a word of encouragement and appreciation to the gathered ministers. Thirty (30) ministers were in attendance over the 2 days.

The key topics treated were:

§  Liturgy for Divine services

§  Confirmation blessing

§  Pre-requisites and preparations for Confirmation blessings

§  Conducting a burial service

The participants enjoyed a lively training with a lot of practical examples and role-plays to their utmost benefit.
