Nkawkaw Central Church witnessed an encouraging attendance at this year’s Thanksgiving Service on the 2nd October, 2022. Two hundred and fifty (250) members were present as Deputy District Rector Joseph Gyimah led the service.

The text word was taken from Psalm 145:2-3, “Every day I will bless you and I will praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable”

The assistant Nkawkaw district leader began his sermon by expressing his joy and appreciation to the members, for their show of faith and love in God and bountifully contributing to celebrating Thanksgiving.

Dwelling on the text word, Deputy District Rector Gyimah explained that it is always good to give thanks to God, for His work deserves even more appreciation. He elaborated on the good things done by God to mankind, rhetorically questioning how members appreciate and give thanks. He cited King Solomon as an good example for members to follow.

He concluded by saying that God acknowledges our thanks offerings and will do even more for us when we show Him appreciation for His good works.

The service was supported by Shepherd Eric Donkor, Community Evangelist Awuah and Priest Isaac Osafo
