Sister Edna Addo presenting an envelope to Sister Mary Asembi
21 January 2023

The year is still new, expectations new, our resolution are new, our passion is new and our pleasant wishes towards our aged are also new. Hopes, plans, feelings, efforts, and commitment in the dedication of Godly duties are all new.

These were the thoughts of the Ho Central women fellowship as they embarked on a surprise home visitation to the homes of some members.

On Sunday 15th January 2023, some assigned members of the Ho Central Congregation Women’s Group, spent close to five hours paying visits to some of the sick and aged women who are no longer able to attend Divine Services or participate in any church activities due to their current conditions. These women included Sister Mary Asembi who is visually impaired, Sister Beatrice Addo, and Sister Janet Parku as well as Sisters Ruth Okra and Adams.

The idea of these visits was to pray, fellowship, encourage, and also give them hope. An undisclosed amount of money was also presented to these sisters as support.

The sisters were overwhelmed with joy for the surprising visit and also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Congregation, most importantly members of women’s group.
