Saturday September 16
Apostle Richard Senyo Osei (Host) conducted a special children service to raise the curtains for the day’s activities. The divine service was based on a bible word from Mark 12: 41-42 “Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.”
The Apostle explained the reasons and benefits of offering. He entreated participants to offer wholeheartedly in order to enjoy the blessings therefrom. He admonished that, all offerings must emanate from a thankful heart, that it may be acceptable to God. He urged the Sunday School children to pay heed to the Sunday lessons and practice same wherever they find themselves.
In conclusion he emphasized, “God sees our hearts and know all the sacrifices everyone makes for His work, and He accordingly rewards them who willfully and wholeheartedly offer these sacrifices.” Apostle Anthony Kuada, Volta South Apostle Area (special guest) supported the service..
Following the divine service, the children performed songs, drama, choreography, recitations and games.
