Lead Apostle Ohene-Saffo conducted the second service of his first visit to the brothers and sisters in the Cape Coast Apostle area. The service was a preparation for the divine service for the departed at the Cape Coast central church on Sunday, October 29, 2023. It was a joint service for the the districts of Abura Dunkwa, Yankumasi, Mankessim and Cape Coast. The lead Apostle was accompanied by Apostle Emmanuel Quaansah.

The text for the service was taken from Acts 17:26-27; “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us”

The Lead Apostle began by emphasizing the grace that has been bestowed on all mankind irrespective of wherever and whenever they dwelt on the face of the earth. He inferred the power of God to redeem whoever seeks Him is still great. “Beloved we are still proclaiming to you the truth, when we talk about the service for the departed, many feel we stress ourselves because those of the world believe they will die and after death judgement. That is what they know”, asserted the Lead Apostle. He emphasized that these people do not understand the Scriptures.

The Ghana leader further stated that the gathered brothers and sisters are in great joy because they are not waiting for judgement but the First Resurrection, and thus are waiting to enter into the kingdom of God and the reign of peace. “We want you to understand that Jesus loves you and has bought you at a heavy price. I therefore urge you all never to go back, but steadfastly wait and when the Lord returns, you shall have eternal life.” The Leader again posited that Jesus Christ is preparing a place for those who are His children, and thus will come and take them to where He has prepared for them.

The service was assisted by Apostle Emmanuel Quansah, District Rector James Esuah and a Congregational Rector Osei Boateng. Four hundred and twenty (420) members attended the service.
