Our dedicated and serviceable brothers also took their turn to reflect on the passing year, and also express their gratitude.
Peter; Priest & Website reporter, Ohio: Gratitude Galore for 2023! God has been the ultimate event planner, orchestrating promotions, love escapades, health victories, surprise money showers, and more! Cheers to divine laughter and blessings that make life sparkle. Now to 2024 – may every day be full of heavenly fiesta!
Ben; Deacon & Youth Leader, Accra Central: I am grateful for the gift of life throughout the year and that of my family and friends. 2023 came with its own ups and downs but we were able to sail through, and focused more on the positives. The year taught me to be more supportive, caring and influence the life of people, especially those close to me and in my congregation. The learning opportunities that came my way had their own challenges, but they also provided valuable lessons and opportunities for my growth. I’m grateful for all the activities we were able to hold during the year as the youth body of Accra Central with the climax of a Youth Dinner and awards night to say “Ayeekoo” (Well done) for keeping the faith. For all these I am grateful.
Abeiku; Youth leader, Tema: I’m much grateful to God for giving me life and good health and for that of my family and loved ones. I am also grateful for the new addition to my family, welcoming a bouncy baby boy!
Isaac; Priest & Chorister, Osu: I'm grateful for the opportunities that came my way, the experiences that shaped me, and the people who supported me throughout the year. It was a year of growth and learning, and I'm thankful for all the moments that made it special.
Ebenezer; Priest, Organist & Reporter, Konongo: The Lord was good to me and my family. Although we had some challenges in life, but His favours outweighed all. I will always say “Glory be to God, our Father for His blessings”. To have remained steadfast in Him was a big opportunity and achievement for me. With a humble and grateful heart, I say “Aseda” (thanks).
Frank; Reporter, Takoradi: It’s been a tough and hectic year. Despite the many challenges and disappointments, I am grateful for His abundant grace and favour. He spiritually and naturally protected my family. I am grateful for being able to provide for all the basic needs of the family. I am also thankful for good health. This year, I was able to farm on 0.47 acre of land and I had a good harvest for which I give thanks to the Lord. Lastly, I had the privilege to understudy and travel with my Lead Apostle, Apostle and Bishop. Those moments enriched my knowledge of the gospel and doctrine of the Church.
Philip; Priest, Choir Leader & Youth Leader, Aburi: First of all, I'm so grateful for God's protection and guidance throughout the year. 2023 wasn't easy but I was able to achieve most of the things I set out to do both spiritually and physically. We soldier on to 2024!!!
