On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the Local Seminar Trainers from the Accra Apostle Working Area met at the Accra Central Church to discuss doctrinal development topics and issues relating to the church. This came off under the tutorship of Apostle Charles Asare (Accra Working Area) and seminar heads, Deputy District Rectors Hammond (Accra West) and Danso (Aburi).
The seminar began with an opening prayer by Deputy District Rector Hammond, followed by opening remarks by Apostle Charles Asare. Each participant was then introduced and then thereafter the meeting began.
Topics and issues discussed for the day included:
- Reviving inactive congregations in the country
- The Church’s understanding of salvation
- Witchcraft, especially the thoughts from the Chief Apostle
- Qualities and responsibilities of a Rector, administration and organization
- Stop sexual misconduct,
- Intranet, and many more
Concluding the seminar, Deputy District Rectors Danso and Hammond took turns to admonish the trainers on redoubling their efforts to help spread the gospel, teach the Church's doctrine and practice, policies and position on societal & cultural matters.
The Apostle, Charles Asare, felt happy with the enthusiasm showed by all and encouraged every trainer to help facilitate the process by sharing their knowledge through continuous organizing of seminars at the local churches. The day was filled with laughs, and eventually ended with the famous Usain Bolt’s pose “To Di World”.
