On Sunday the 31st March, 2024, at Tanoso in the Techiman Apostle Area, Apostle Paul Yaw Kyeremeh held a divine service to climax a four-day Easter convention for the women’s group.
The text word for the service was taken from Colossians 3:1-2 “You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on His throne at the right-hand side of God. Keep your minds fixed on things there, not on things here on earth.”
“Brethren in Christ, it is joyous when children of God seek protection under God’s shadow just as we have done”, remarked the Apostle as he opened his sermon.
“In doing God’s work, we do not use our physical strength but rather we have to seek strength from our Maker, what we see today was planned by man but it is God who gave us the might and privilege to witness this day”, he continued.
In summary, Apostle Paul Kyeremeh advised the gathering:
- To seek strength in doing God’s work.
- To believe in God and trust in Him for He knows what is best for His children.
- “Everything happens for a reason and we should not lose faith in God.”
- To set our sights and aim on heavenly things rather than earthly things.
- “We should always listen to our inner voice which is the voice of God which always protects and guides us.”
Concluding his sermon, Apostle Kyeremeh said: “Let us manifest ourselves in the death and resurrection of Jesus to have eternal life. Had there been no resurrection of Jesus, we would have been pitied as Christians. Let us set our target on eternal life. Think about Christ, His resurrection and death.”
