The Lead Apostle holding a little baby after divine service
18 July 2024

The Lead Apostle, Benjamin Ohene-Saffo, conducted the preparatory service for the departed at Bolgatanga on 30th June, 2024, at the Bolga congregation.

A bible text was taken from 1 Thessalonians 4:14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.”

Our core mandate on the spiritual level
The Lead Apostle explained that, in fellowship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ, we must:

  • Have faith – believe in the Triune God and His acts of salvation and His Sacraments;
  • Keep the commandments of God;
  • Contribute our God-given gifts and resources to the growth and development of this fellowship;
  • The fear of death and judgement

The Lead Apostle gave hope to the congregation: “For those who believe in Jesus Christ, accept the grace and align themselves to the gospel of Christ, the Lord shall have mercy on them. They shall escape judgement.”

The Lead Apostle also encouraged all to:

  • Remember our brothers and sisters who do not have the opportunity of Jesus Christ in our prayers.
  • Not to condemn others…
  • But give hope and life to others

The Lead Apostle was assisted by Apostle Samuel Ayidana (Bolgatanga Area Apostle) and District Elder Eric Ahene (Accra Apostle Area)

Ordination and assignment
As part of the service, one Priest and a Deacon were ordained into the ministry. Two rectors were appointed.
