On Sunday 4th August, the Madina youth celebrated their 2024 Youth Day with the entire congregation. The theme for the youth celebration was “Prayer works”, in line with the motto for the year.

The day began with a special divine service held at the Madina congregation and officiated by the visiting Bishop Charles Kesse, of the Konongo Apostle working area.

The Bishop led the service based on John 4:28-29, 28 “The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”

Bishop Kesse expressed his joy to be part of such a special and blessed divine service and admonished the youth to hold steadfast to the gift of faith they have received through the living Apostles. He therefore encouraged to let go of everything that is holding them back to propagate faith to world as done by the Samaritan after her encounter with Jesus.

There were 261 members at the special divine service.

After the divine service, the Madina Youth organized a free health screening for the entire congregation to crown their day.
