On Sunday September 8, 2024, Apostle Anthony Kofi Kuada officiated a divine service at the Battor Congregation, Battor district. The service also served as a thanksgiving service in honour of Sister Ame Korfietor – Apostle Lavoe’s mother.

Apostle Anthony Kuada read the text word from 1 Kings 19:11-12, “Then he said, “Go out, stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire, a still small voice.”

The intention of God towards man
It is the plan of God that all human beings return to Him but not with sin, said the Apostle. He added that God has a purpose for all humans in that He kept ordaining minister until now. He said because we have God’s life in us, He would not destroy us rather He will protect us. Jesus Christ before He left, instituted the Apostle’s ministry. So, keep to the teachings of the Apostles.

Where do you seek the face of God?
“Our God is a gentle God and that we should seek Him not in the earthly riches” he said. “Do not be deceived by the things you see or hear; God is with His people wherever they gather. Come to the house of God and seek His face”.

What do you seek from God?
The Apostle made it clear that there are earthly riches and spiritual riches. The congregants were urged to seek spiritual riches which would last forever. “God has hidden the spiritual riches in His Apostles, come and do not harden your hearts when you hear His words”, the Volta South Apostle concluded.
