Youth enjoying a board game
5 November 2024

This year, the youth of the Nkawkaw Apostle area celebrated their Youth Day after 2 years. This came off between 24th to 27th October, 2024. Apostle Isaac Opoku Mensah brought together youth from all eleven districts and accommodated them at the Mococo Senior High School. However, all events were held at Nkawkaw Central Church premise.

The theme for the program was True Faith has Future (Luke 18:8).

Day 1
Youth from the eleven districts arrived on the first day and settled at their accommodation. Later in the day, District Rector Gyimah led a welcome session outline activities for the youth camp.

Day 2
The day began with a morning devotion. This was followed by discussions on:

  • The Importance of Entrepreneurship by Sister Judith Owusu
  • Causes of Bad Behaviour of the Youth Today and Ways to Avert Them as New Apostolic Youth, by District Elder Antwi
  • The Awareness of God, by Deacon Nicholas

Late in the afternoon, the youth engaged in some board and card games for entertainment.

Day 3
The Youth enjoyed the first part of the day with Deacon Larweh, who spoke about Drug Abuse and Ways to Stop It. Apostle Isaac Mensah also spent some time answering questions from the Youth. Thereafter the Youth spent some time to socialise to help know themselves and build good brotherly relationships within the Church. There was also a game of football among the males.
