On Sunday, January 5, 2025, Apostle Sam led a joint service at the Kojokrom congregation, emphasizing the importance of doing good to all people, centred on this year’s motto ‘It’s time to do good’.

The Apostle's sermon centered on the Apostle Paul's words in Galatians 6:9-10: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.’

In his sermon, Apostle Sam reminded the congregation that doing good is not optional, but a fundamental aspect of our faith. He emphasized that believers should not grow weary in doing good, as their efforts will ultimately be rewarded.

He challenged the congregation to look beyond their own needs and also focus on the needs of others. He encouraged them to take advantage of every opportunity to do good, whether volunteering their time, donating to charitable causes, or simply showing kindness to those around them.

He continued that doing good is a command that requires intentional effort and dedication. “In a world that often seems weary and worn down, it's easy to lose sight of the importance of doing good. However”, the Apostle reminded the congregants, “Our actions have consequences and that doing good can have a profound impact on those around us.”

The Takoradi leader also highlighted the importance of perseverance in doing good. “It's easy to grow tired and give up, especially when we don't see immediate results. However, we must keep striving forward, trusting that our efforts would ultimately bear fruit.”

As Apostle Sam concluded his sermon, the congregation was reminded that doing good is not just about grand gestures, but about the small, everyday actions that can make a big difference in someone's life. “As believers, we have a responsibility to do good and make a positive impact in our communities”, he said.
