Apostle George Anum Nortey conducted a special Divine Service to conclude the annual youth camp for the 338 Konongo Youth on 24th August 2025.
The Divine service was based on the Bible text: Galatians 6:9–10 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Apostle Anum Nortey delivered a compelling message, focusing on the following key themes:
Agent of Change
We are called to be active participants in God’s work. Spiritual development within the church is a sacred responsibility. As youth and agents of Jesus Christ, we must embody the change we seek—not for material gain, but to pursue the Kingdom of God.
It Is Time to Do Good
Apostle Nortey asked: “When does the time begin, and what kind of good does the Lord require?” He emphasized:
- Supporting the church’s spiritual growth
- Helping others find and believe in Jesus
- Serving the household of faith and our neighbours. “The time to act is now—while we hear the Word of God”, he added.
Let Us Not Grow Weary
Referencing Philippians 2, Apostle Nortey encouraged the youth to:
- Be united in love and purpose
- Avoid selfish ambition
- Value others above themselves
- Look out for one another’s interests
Final Charge
Apostle Nortey concluded with a call to action: “Let us help in Christ’s work, and His blessings shall never depart from us.”
