On November 15, 2025, the Takoradi Apostle Area hosted a memorable choral concert titled “Praising Together” at the Akroma Plaza Hotel. The evening welcomed District Apostle Michael Ehrich and Apostle Martin Rheinberger, the newly appointed District Apostle Helper (South Germany) to Ghana.
A Celebration of Music and Faith
The program featured soul-stirring renditions of sacred and inspirational songs, captivating role plays, and delightful contributions from the Sunday School children. The Apostle Working Area choir delivered a powerful performance that uplifted hearts and set the tone for an evening of praise.
Highlights of the Concert
- The Adult and Sunday School choirs, directed by District Elder Seth Fenyi and Sister Adelaide, presented a rich blend of modern and classical choral pieces, many specially arranged for the occasion.
- A moving role play accompanied the song “Carry Your Candle.”
- A violin interlude of “Sweet Hour of Prayer” added a reflective touch.
- The children charmed the audience with “Jesus Loves Little Children.”
- The choir performed “Ka ma obiara Nti” — a Ghanaian Twi song meaning “spread the word to everyone.”
Distinguished Guests
The event was graced by Lead Apostles Benjamin Ohene-Saffo (Ghana), Vincent Yedenou (Benin & Togo), Nwanza Oscar Kabanga (Nigeria), and Leno Marc Saa (Sierra Leone). Active and retired Apostles and Bishops from Ghana, Benin, and Togo attended with their spouses, adding to the spirit of fellowship.

Invited to share a few words, District Apostle Helper Apostle Martin Rheinberger commended the diligent preparation and highlighted the symbolism of the children’s items, reminding all that our actions should radiate the light of God within us. District Apostle Michael Ehrich expressed heartfelt gratitude, especially to the children’s choir in his closing remarks. Drawing from the songs “Carry Your Candle” and “Jesus Loves Little Children,” he encouraged members to cherish their children and let their light shine.
