A bright, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere filled the Ho Central and Klefe congregations as Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene‑Saffo conducted divine service on Sunday, 9th November 2025. He was accompanied by Apostle Richard Senyo Osie and several district ministers.
The text for the service was taken from Matthew 25:40:“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”
In his opening remarks, the Lead Apostle expressed his joy at meeting the congregations again after a short break from his visits. He assured them that his visits would be more frequent going forward. To deepen the understanding of the text, he further referenced Matthew 25:35–36: “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in. I was naked and you clothed Me.”
Sharing God’s Word
The Lead Apostle explained that the scripture emphasizes the spiritual dimension of life more than the physical. While basic necessities are important for earthly living, he reminded members that spiritual growth is essential for inheriting the Kingdom of God. He noted that many souls—both on earth and in the beyond—are spiritually hungry and must be nourished with the Word of God. Members were encouraged to share their faith and doctrine with their neighbours, focusing not only on their own salvation but also on the salvation of others, including the departed. He emphasized that prayers and intercession help souls in the yonder world, and sharing God’s Word contributes to the redemption of our neighbour.
Love for All
The Lead Apostle highlighted that God is love, and as His children, we are called to love and forgive one another just as He loves us. God’s love knows no boundaries; therefore, believers must demonstrate unconditional love to all—whether familiar or unfamiliar. He reminded the congregants that loving God means doing His will, and treating everyone with kindness, fairness, and a pure heart is part of fulfilling that divine will.
Protect One Another
Continuing his message, the Lead Apostle urged members to be each other’s keeper. He encouraged them to help their neighbours overcome their imperfections, using words that uplift and edify rather than expose weaknesses. Supporting and protecting the reputation of one’s neighbour, he said, is a true expression of love. Members were encouraged to shield, encourage, counsel, and bring peace to one another.
Conclusion
In closing, the Lead Apostle called on members to live the exemplary life of Christ in order to win more souls for His Kingdom. He urged everyone to remain steadfast and always prepared for the return of Christ.
