“Let us give thanks to God, for His mercies endure forever. He does everything perfectly in His own time; therefore, let us patiently wait on Him.” With these words, District Rector J. B. Amoah opened the End‑of‑Year divine service on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the New Apostolic Church, Osu Congregation.

The text word for the service was taken from Revelation 3:8:“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
District Rector Amoah encouraged the congregation to trust God’s perfect timing and remain steadfast in faith. Drawing from Scripture, he shared several lessons:

Transformation and Steadfastness – The Example of Apostle Paul
Paul’s life demonstrated God’s power to transform. Despite mockery, rejection, and hardship, he remained faithful. The Rector noted that criticism still exists today—even within the church—and urged believers to open their hearts to God’s Word so it may bring salvation.

Remembering God’s Faithfulness – Lessons from the Israelites
God guided Israel through Moses, provided for them in the wilderness, and opened paths where none existed. Yet at the Red Sea, they forgot His miracles and complained. The Rector reminded the congregation that humans often forget God’s blessings when facing challenges. Patience and trust in God’s loving plan are essential.

Victory Through Faith – The Example of King David
David faced many enemies but triumphed through unwavering faith. Likewise, believers must reflect Christ in their lives and examine their readiness for His return.

Conclusion and Encouragement
District Rector Amoah urged the congregation to:

  • Prepare for Christ’s return by listening to and sharing God’s Word
  • Love one another and continue in good works
  • Remain patient through trials
  • Stay united in the Lord’s house
  • Commit to winning souls for Christ in the New Year
  • Trust that God works perfectly in His own time
  • To renew their commitment to winning souls in the New Year and trusting God’s plan.

He was assisted in the service by Shepherd Kwapong, Community Evangelists Mingle and Boakye, Priests Jonas, Yeboah, and Kankam, and Deacon Ekow.
