The women of the New Apostolic Church, Ho Central Congregation, marked this year’s Mother’s Day with a meaningful and compassionate outreach. In a spirit of love and service, they visited the inmates of the Ho Central Female Prison to honour and uplift women and mothers who are often overlooked and undervalued in society.
The initiative was led by the Rector of the congregation, Priest Elias Agbogbo, alongside the Women’s Leader, Sister Juliet Nugble, with strong support from the church choir. Through inspiring hymns and uplifting melodies, the team brought joy, encouragement, and a renewed sense of hope to the inmates.
In a heartfelt gesture, the women presented assorted gifts to the inmates as a symbol of care, appreciation, and solidarity. The theme for the occasion, “Seen, Valued, and Loved,” resonated deeply within the prison environment, where many may struggle with feelings of isolation or neglect.
This act of kindness reflects the compassion and dedication of the women of the Ho Central Congregation. It serves as a powerful reminder that every individual, regardless of circumstance, deserves to be seen, valued, and loved.
