The youth of the Volta North Apostle Area gathered at Okadjakrom Secondary Technical School in the Jasikan District for a memorable weekend of recreation and spiritual upliftment from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30.

Day 1: Arrival and Opening Ceremony
From as early as 10:00 a.m. on Friday, young people from across the Apostle Area began arriving at the camp venue with great enthusiasm. The opening ceremony featured a brief but inspiring message from the Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo. Apostle Alexander Poku Akubia led the orientation session, while Apostle Timothy Akubia (Ir.) also shared words of encouragement with the participants. Their messages set a positive and spiritually enriching tone for the weekend.

Day 2: Spiritual Learning and Recreational Activities
The second day of the camp was marked by insightful lectures aimed at strengthening the faith and understanding of the youth. The Lead Apostle delivered a presentation on “What is the New Apostolic Church?”, covering key aspects such as the Church’s mission and vision, the goal of faith, and the role of the Apostolate. Apostle Richard Osei also led a session on Sacrifices, emphasizing the importance of selfless service in the life of a believer. Both topics were thoughtfully presented and well received by the participants, who actively engaged in discussions and asked numerous questions to deepen their understanding. The youth were encouraged to internalize the doctrine of the Church and to dedicate their time, talents, and resources toward its growth and development. Later in the day, participants enjoyed a variety of recreational activities, including ludo, draughts, tug-of-peace, volleyball, and football, fostering fellowship and teamwork among the youth.

The day's activities concluded with a choir rehearsal in preparation for the Divine Service on Sunday.
