Lead Apostle together with members after the divine service
14 October 2026

The Lead Apostle, Benjamin Ohene Sarfo, has reminded members that the Church’s primary mission is to proclaim salvation through grace, not magic or prophecy. He made this statement during a Divine Service at the Krofrom Congregation on October 10, 2026.

The scripture reading for the service was taken from 1 John 4:14: “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.”

Grace, Not Magic
Expounding on the text, the Lead Apostle stressed that the Church's message centers on salvation rather than the pursuit of miracles or prophetic displays. He questioned the value of prophesying about every aspect of life without ultimately leading people into the Kingdom of God. According to him, Apostles have been sent to proclaim the good news of grace, not to perform magic. While Jesus Christ performed many miracles during His earthly ministry, those miracles were not His primary purpose. Jesus’ sole purpose was to bring God's grace for salvation.

No One Is Righteous Without Grace
The Lead Apostle further stated that no one can live a day without sin or attain a level of righteousness that guarantees entry into heaven through personal works alone. Salvation, he emphasized, is possible only through the grace of God.

Baptism, Holy Communion, and Eternal Life
The Lead Apostle reminded the congregation that Christ instituted baptism with water and the Holy Spirit as part of God's plan of salvation, emphasizing that salvation is not merely demonstrated through speaking in tongues. In conclusion, the Lead Apostle explained that Christ offered Himself as the final sacrifice for humanity. Through that sacrifice, believers have received three great blessings: baptism by water and Spirit, the privilege of sharing in Holy Communion, and the promise of eternal life. "This is what we have been sent to tell you: whoever believes in Christ and follows His word has salvation," he concluded.

The Lead Apostle was supported by Apostle George Sam and Bishop Thomas Ampofo.
