Sister Elizabeth Aba Mingle
27 October 2026

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Apostle Charles Addo Asare of the Accra Apostle Area led members of the Osu, La, Teshie, and Tema Congregations of the New Apostolic Church, together with members of the Accra East District and other mourners, in bidding a final farewell to the late Sister Elizabeth Aba Mingle. The funeral service was held at the New Apostolic Church, Osu Congregation.

The Apostle was accompanied by Bishop Fenyi (Accra Apostle Area), District Rector Arhin (Accra West District), District Rector Delegates De-Heer (Accra East District) and Kankam (Dodowa District), as well as other Priestly ministers from the Accra East District.

The sermon was based on Luke 1:45: “Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfilment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
In his sermon, Apostle Charles Addo Asare expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, loved ones, sympathisers, and the entire congregation. He acknowledged the deep sorrow and pain that accompany the loss of a loved one, noting that such moments often lead people to reflect on the purpose of life and the realities of suffering and death.

Drawing from the chosen scripture, the Apostle encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in faith, emphasising that faith in Jesus Christ provides comfort and hope even in times of grief. He further referred to John 11:25-26, where Jesus declares: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

Through this message, the Apostle reminded the congregation that believers in Christ possess the enduring hope of eternal life. While death separates loved ones physically, it does not extinguish the Christian hope of resurrection and reunion in God's kingdom.

Concluding his sermon, Apostle Charles Addo Asare urged the congregation to find comfort in Christ's promises, remain unwavering in their faith, and hold firmly to the hope of eternal life and resurrection. He assured the mourners of the certainty of God's promises and encouraged the widower, Community Evangelist Richard Saka Mingle, to find strength in the Lord and comfort in the hope of being reunited with his beloved wife on the day of resurrection.

The Apostle was assisted during the service by District Rector Delegate De-Heer and Shepherd Kwapong.
